Ah great, looking forward to you mixing it up a bit. Will be interesting to listen to your take on anaerobic / aerobic debate... will post any questions that pop into my head between now mid may...
Yeah PTing, injury treatment and rehab, been going mad with the hours recently... Looking into ways to 'leverage' my time more effectivily - Loving the sea side, just hoping for some good weather!
Have you got a key topic your covering on the call? or is it pretty open?
Significantly greater activation of VMO and VL during lunging, however there was no significant difference for GM between the two exercises (can't quote the figures as I haven't got the study with me!)... I was mainly assessing these movements to look at there use in the rehab of anterior knee pain etc.
Much the same with you under pressure at the end of my degree and made a few errors in the study... but learnt loads with the reading required to complete it!
I was reading your profile and saw the title of your thesis, it's of interest to me as I looked at a very similar subject area for my dissertation (and probably read alot of the same journals!).
My dissertation was named 'Electromyographic Analysis of Lower Limb Muscle Activation during the Front Lunge and Bilateral Squat in Healthy Subjects'. - I looked at the activation of gluteus medius, vastus medialis oblique and vastus lateralis (from a rehab point of view).
Anyway hope you picked up some usefully (pratical) info during your reading as I did with my dissertation.
Good luck with the up coming book release in may.
Take care
Alex
P.s. Is your thesis pubilished anywhere online so I could have a read of it?

What date is your call scheduled for?
